Next Parish Council Meeting - Thursday 16th May 2024 at 7pm - Sharpness Scout & Guides Hut, Sanigar Lane, Newtown 〰️

Hamfallow is a rural parish in the Vale of Berkeley, Gloucestershire, a short distance from the historic town of Berkeley, with its famous 12th-century castle. With just over 1,000 residents scattered across the villages of Breadstone, Halmore, Newtown and Wanswell, we enjoy the beautiful countryside and walks, our very own cricket pitch and newly-built pavilion, a family adventure park and the proposed Vale of Berkeley Railway will meander through our parish.

Amongst the many amenities found in the Hamfallow parish, Newtown has a vibrant primary school as well as elderly people's sheltered housing. Wanswell’s pub, Salmon Inn, is well known throughout the area, offers a friendly welcome, great food, a beer garden and outdoor amenities for children. There are several businesses in Breadstone including an equine hospital, vets and hot air balloon company. Halmore’s focal point is a telephone book exchange housed in the pretty red telephone box. There are also some delightful walks.

There is plenty to do in and around Hamfallow - we hope you enjoy browsing our site.

As well as the website, we have six noticeboards that are regularly updated. These are situated at:
